Join us for a rare opportunity to explore the Lyttelton Port Company, the largest deep-water port in the South Island. This tour is only available for a limited time, and you will see how the port operates and connects New Zealand to the world through trade.
From Tuesday, July 16, to Friday, July 19, there will be two one-hour tours at 12:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person.
You will hear from our knowledgeable staff, who will share their stories and insights into the port’s history, current operations, and future plans.
As a bonus, your ticket will support a great cause, Cholmondeley Children’s Centre, which helps families with young children, providing short-term emergency or planned respite care when needed.
Lyttelton Port is a Customs Controlled Area (CCA), and we require you to provide a photo ID (Driver Licence or Passport) to LPC Security before boarding the bus for those 16 years or older. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Unfortunately, you will be unable to board the bus if you do not have the required photo ID.
Please note, there is no wheelchair access for this event.
